Hello all,
spam is a bit of a problem, but it can be reverted by any editor who comes
along, as has already happened, which can be seen from histories of the
pages. The spam cannot do any serious harm as far as I can tell, as it can
always be reverted. In the worst case, more pages can be protected apart
from the main page.
There are advantages to using MediaWiki, including the familiarity of its
markup because of the popularity of Wikimedia projects that use it such as
Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikisource, and Wikibooks. That's how I see it,
anyway.
