Hello Chris and Dan,yesterday we found one bug which is relevant for both Freeplane and FreeMind. If you insert an image as a link to the external file and its name contains non ascii characters, they are saved in the default system encoding and as a consequence the linked image can not be found if the map with the image are opened on another OS.
I attach an example map and one image file linkmÄp.png to this mail.I am currently fixing the issue for Freeplane. Please let me know if you want me to make the fix for FreeMind too.
Kind regards, Dimitry Polivaev
