Hello Chris and Dan,

yesterday we found one bug which is relevant for both Freeplane and FreeMind. If you insert an image as a link to the external file and its name contains non ascii characters, they are saved in the default system encoding and as a consequence the linked image can not be found if the map with the image are opened on another OS.

I attach an example map and one image file linkmÄp.png to this mail.

I am currently fixing the issue for Freeplane. Please let me know if you want me to make the fix for FreeMind too.

Kind regards,
Dimitry Polivaev
