Do we need a whole major? AT the moment it's /dev/plex86 for minor 0.
Are the other minor numbers going to be used, and if so what will they
be called? If not, it might as well just be a minor somewhere.
For reference, VMWare has a minor for /dev/vmmon ("VMWare virtual
machine monitor") and a major for /dev/vmnet* ("VMWare virtual network
control").
