VNC does all this and more. In fact, I think the tech support can connect to the VM at the same time you are connected to it, and you can both see the screen at the same time. VNC uses the X protocol, making it compatible with all standard X apps, but does not require an actual (hardware) X server. There is no need to reinvent any of this for plex86.
