Actually, that isn't the only way to kill text in pine. Try moving the
cursor to the beginning of the text you want to get rid of, press
Control-^ then move the cursor to the end of what you want to get rid of
and press Control-K. It also works going from the end of what you want to
get rid of to the beginning.
