Ok, I think that there is some difference in what people feel is appropriate for the x.x.y releases (such as 0.3.6, 0.3.7 etc). Bad, I assume you think that they should be bugfix releases only, where-as the general consensus (and the rule-of-thumb that has been applied until now) is that minor funcationality improvements are permissable in the x.x.y releases. Bad, what we did for a while was create a separate branch for each release (didn't work too well due to lack of discipline) and bugfixes went in there. If you really think we need a bugfix-only branch, then perhaps this is the best solution. Ian.
