I wanted to have a 0.3 and 0.4 branch. Only I wanted to simply create them
in different modules rather than use cvs branches - or rather I stipulated
that it might be just as well.

The problem is that this is not just a matter of bugfixes. It may well be
that we want to implement completely new features to the 0.3 branch that
are not going to be in 0.4 (or at least not in the same way).
