  And the only relevant piece:

  So it matched the DEFAULT entry, but not the one where it specifies
the users password.

  All I can say is figure out *why* it didn't match.  Do simple tests,
like it suggests in the FAQ.

  Read the output again.  It's not even *using* crypt-local.
