hi hans

generally, when using windows XP, don't use the Cisco client. use the so-called zero-config (or "managed by another program" in the cisco client), which means that windows will do it.

tell windows to use encryption and to do so with an automatically delivered key. that should work.

the only thing the A&A client has to do with it, is the key which it should deliver. but if it works with one card, it works with every card; they use the same windows api. in your AP1200 make encryption mandatory to force it to send EAPOL key frames.

i will test it, but i think that it perfectly works here with cisco 350 card and 1100 access point (and also 1200). anyway, we will test it soon.

I'll apologize first since this isn't a really a Freeradius problem, but
someone here might have the answer.

I'm using EAP/TTLS and Freeradius with Cisco 1200 access points. When I
test from Windows 2000 with a linksys wireless adapter with the Alfa&Ariss
Client everything works OK, but when I use a Cisco 350 adapter everything
works OK, except the WEP encryption isn't happening. If I use the Funk
Oddessy Client the encryption works. I need to somehow tell the Cisco card
to do WEP, but can't seem to find a way without using the Cisco ACU Client,
which doesn't support EAP/TTLS.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to tell the Cisco card to do 128bit WEP,
Linksys has it on the driver configuration, but the Cisco driver doesn't
have it there.
