Hello Alan,
thanks for your reply.
Because there is no "Authentication-Type" attribute. There's an "Auth-Type" attribute
Oh, sorry, what a stupid mistake. I just copied from a unofficial website and didn't think about it.
but it doesn't have a "realm" value. Can you explain what in the documentation led you to sue that attribute, with that value?
Ok, by looking into radiusd.conf I assume there are those values for Auth-Type:
PAP, CHAP, MS-CHAP, PAM, UNIX, LDAP, EAP.
Furthermore, I read about the values reject, local and system. Is "local" or "system"
the correct value to forward requests by using realm NULL?
And this is still strange to me: when my users file contains only "DEFAULT Auth-Type := Reject"
then all requests are rejected and FR doesn't forward any requests, ok so far. But when I change my users file to
DEFAULT Auth-Type := LDAP
DEFAULT Auth-Type := Reject
then FR forwards all requests to the other radius server even if 'module "ldap" returns ok'.
But -as far as I understood- it shouldn't unless there was "Fall-Through = yes". Am I wrong?
Have a nice weekend ;-) Benedikt
