Hello, Sorry, RDS is the new name of Terminal server, the Windows 2008 R2 Edition: Remote Desktop Service. Anyway,... commercial stuff :)
The problem is that the actual version of freerdp doesn't seem to support the session broker option of Windows 2008 R2 terminal server farm. I have no problem with a 'mstsc' rdp client of a windows 7 machine Also, i can connect with the xfreerdp client to Windows 2008 R2 servers that are not in a RDS farm, with no problem. Here is the output of a freerdp 0.8.2 launch on a debian machine : __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ wrktestdebian:/# xfreerdp --no-tls -g 800x600 10.100.30.228 xkbLayout: fr xkbVariant: latin9 xkbLayout: fr xkbVariant: latin9 xkbLayout: fr xkbVariant: latin9 xkbLayout: fr xkbVariant: latin9 find_keyboard_layout_in_xorg_rules: 0 Found locale : fr_FR detect_keyboard_layout_from_locale: 40C Using French (0x0000040C) Loading keymap xfree86 xkbfilepath: /usr/local/share/freerdp/keymaps/xfree86 Loading keymap xfree86(basic) xkbfilepath: /usr/local/share/freerdp/keymaps/xfree86 Loading keymap aliases(azerty) xkbfilepath: /usr/local/share/freerdp/keymaps/aliases kbd_init: detect_and_load_keyboard returned 1036 freerdp_kbd_init: 40C starting thread 0 to 10.100.30.228:3389 main thread, waiting for all threads to exit freerdp_chanman_pre_connect: keyboard_layout: 40C connecting to 10.100.30.228:3389 freerdp_chanman_post_connect: server name [10.100.30.228] chan_man->num_libs [0] redirect flags: b0d redirect_server: 10.100.30.227 redirect_username: test-tse-2 redirect_domain: SLS-GCI redirect_target_fqdn: SRV24767ST.sls-gci.grp redirect_target_netbios_name: SRV24767ST redirect_target_net_addresses_len: 36 0000 01 00 00 00 1c 00 00 00 31 00 30 00 2e 00 31 00 ........1.0...1. 0010 30 00 30 00 2e 00 33 00 30 00 2e 00 32 00 32 00 0.0...3.0...2.2. 0020 37 00 00 00 7... I don't know. What is RDS? Does it work with mstsc from the same location? What is the xfreerdp command line output? What is the error? /Mads ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Increase Visibility of Your 3D Game App & Earn a Chance To Win $500!
