If you can reproduce: What is the xfreerdp output before you get this far?

What is the output of
xprop -root _XKB_RULES_NAMES
setxkbmap -print

That should be fixed now.

Hmm. AFAIK "en-GB" is more of a locale setting and not a keyboard layout 
in X. I wonder what exactly that means. Do you know where and how it is 
configured?
