I checked, and I don't see redirected ports in the device manager (only
see COM1, COM2) in rdp session.
However, if I check the ports tab in any printer's settings tab in the
rdp session, I see COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4 - all redirected ports from
the client.

There was also a command line tool (or a command) to see redirected
ports in Windows Server, but I can't remmeber its name and quick Google
search was fruitless.

Here, with WinXP and Win2003, I just need to enable COM port mapping in
TS configuration and enable serial ports in the client and everything
just works.
