I checked, and I don't see redirected ports in the device manager (only see COM1, COM2) in rdp session. However, if I check the ports tab in any printer's settings tab in the rdp session, I see COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4 - all redirected ports from the client. There was also a command line tool (or a command) to see redirected ports in Windows Server, but I can't remmeber its name and quick Google search was fruitless. Here, with WinXP and Win2003, I just need to enable COM port mapping in TS configuration and enable serial ports in the client and everything just works. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
