Well, that simplifies things greatly.  I can add that in 5 minutes.  :)

..still doesn't seem quite "right" though -- it's tied to every time the
text entry box pops up and goes way, and charactermovement (at least in
Camelot).    It doesn't seem to make sense when it's used in that way.
"suspend paused songs when the text box pops up" "resume paused songs
 when it goes away"... why?  :)
