I'm a bit hesitant about that.

The problem is that specification create expectations.

Quite some people read specification with only half an eye. They see
"19200 baud" and "C4FM", so next thing is them will start to make
assumptions that VHF codec2 modem will be able to carry 38400 bps.

For me, a specification is a technical document and should describe what
actually exists, or what can reasonably be expected will exist.
A specification is not a "wish-list" or a marketing document (as yeasu
seams to think :-) ).

I like to differenciate the (very interesting) discussion we have here
in this list, and the formal specification-document. The serve a very
different purpose.

True, but if somebody would come up with something that is not yet in
the specification, we can always write an addendum. :-)

Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and
threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond. Discussions
will include endpoint security, mobile security and the latest in malware
threats. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfrnl04242012/114/50122263/
