I happened to try yesterday to compile with -pg in CFLAGS, it failed with a libtool error (it was unable to find a .Plo file it expected). Compilation w/out -pg worked fine. Testing with the k10 (phenom-II) cpu in powersave mode (800 MHz) showed that the encoding required about <3% and decoding <6% of the 800 MHz. (gcc-4.7 with graphite, -O3 -ffast-math -flto and the graphite -f flags.) That is small enough that it just might fit into a Cortex-M4F, though the radio encoding may then require its own M4 or dsp. -JimC -- James Cloos <[email protected]> OpenPGP: 1024D/ED7DAEA6 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LogMeIn Rescue: Anywhere, Anytime Remote support for IT.
