Hello Frank,

Yes a few weeks ago I did some work on re-adding the Serial PTT dialog
(as an option alongside Hamlib). I was also to add a patch for Macs and
some way to remove the need for libctb (perhaps using native Com port
calls for Win32).

However my work and enthusiasm stalled when I couldn't get my serial USB
cable(s) to work on Windows. So I haven't been able to test the Serial
PTT on windows, although it seems to be doing the right thing on Linux.

I'd be very happy if anyone else wants to have a go at completing this
chunk of work - i.e. get serial PTT refactored and tested so libctb
isn't needed and it works on Macs. I can give you SVN access if you
need it.

Otherwise I'll get around to it one day, time permitting.

Cheers,

David
