It should be safe to update now. We we were first trying 0.97 that's when the trouble started with fdmdv2 building against codec2-dev but we've long since cleaned that up.
I've got a Review Request for codec2 on Fedora but I need to get a reviewer. Also an option, Fedora now has a COPR repository (Cool Other Peoples Packages) and I could move all the Fedora / CentOS packages there. It has an automated build system the packages would be built on an actual server with ECC memory and not my desktop machine :) Thanks, Richard
