It will have been more difficult to tell until the last couple of releases, the FreeDV reporter facility should help a bit once Fedora has these packages in the official repos, even if this isn't until Fedora 39 is released in a few months. I'm a bit of an outlier because although I build from source, I do so by creating packages and installing them using the Fedora package manager because the standard *nix method using make install is just horrible for knowing what you have and where its files are. I use Richard's spec files with a few minor tweaks. Something to consider is to have a way of identifying a Linux distro when the FreeDV reporter is in use, or indeed Windows 10/11. I doubt this would be seen as prying for the purposes of directing effort to best efficiency. -- Brian G8SEZ _______________________________________________ Freetel-codec2 mailing list Freetel-codec2@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freetel-codec2
