If I understand you correctly, the last problem you decribe is not in my shop.

I can order a product, log inn as admin, get the item listed and go on shopping whith
that item still present..
Same thing happens if I order a product and clicks on create account. Even if I order
a product, cliks on logginn, clicks on create account inside log inn screen, same
thing.
This part works just fine. The only time the basket is losing it's content, is when
you do a chech out, and that is normal behavior.
I hope this can help you in your debug work.
