I have done this on my store,
I added few fields into the database, and the diffrent screens. The fact is that I
managed to do it, so you can to. I have a how-to somewhere, not so well written, but
it shuld cover most.
I added a author field
a releasedate field
Next step is to make some code for getting the titles on the CD listed, and hyperlink
to Real media clips. And also some navigation aid for long lists of products.
You of cause need to update all admin screens regarding item, as well as the screen
displaying the products, and the screen displaying search results. And a couple of
actions or functions. Send me a mail if you want me to dig up that how-to. I can not
enclose files in the mails to the list.
