It sound to me like you shuld look at the atributt and variasjon part of freetrade.
That is wery flexible and shuld make it a brease to make selections of colors and
sizes. I do not think you need to change the databasstructure or anything to
accomplish that part. If you put in 30 diffrent colors, you can select wich one to use
for each product.
Basicly you can do a lot using atributs in FreeTreade.
