Hello,
Recently we formed a Desktop working group within LSB project.
As a part of that we have been looking at standardizing some of the
libraries required for desktop applications. We are finding that the
Freetype2 library is quite commonly used by the desktop applications.
I will like to get some opinions and ask a few questions to begin with.
The most important aspect for the LSB is the ABI stability. What does
this community think on this aspect?
Some of the additional requirements that we have include: available API
documentation, a test suite to test the runtime (if this does not exist
or is incomplete, LSB can help) etc.
