Tonight you'll get a taste, I'm at work at the moment so i've got other things to be getting on with. One thing I wanted to raise is the splashscreen, I'm going to work on revamping this tonight, I tried a few idea's out yesterday but they didn't pan out the way I wanted them to. First off, Linux vs BSD (no not a distro war, I don't have the energy) I think it would be a good idea if we had on the splash screen, GNU/Linux - BSD - Darwin/OSX Currently for crystal I see two files, one for BSD and one for Linux. So what if the linux users don't realise it works with BSD, and they have a mac mini sitting on the shelf. I'd just have the text, we don't want to leave the Mac users out here, as freevo appears to be working on Mac/Darwin so this is good for us and especially with mac mini users out there who will be interested in using freevo if we appeal to their tastes we've got a larger market already. I don't like the shadows below the icons, I think they're too blurry and too deep, I'm going to play with this especially. Another thing about theming, is there any chance of mng animations being used, some simple animations when events occur could dramatically improve the appearance of freevo. regards, Karl ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ Freevo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freevo-devel
