Features are still important, but we should look at all sorts of
interfaces to get ideas and implement the features to give theme
designers maximum flexibility.

Since xine already does goom directly, is there any need for pygoom?

There will be lots of tunable parameters, I think, but the default
should be "auto" or some such, where the eye candy settings are set
based on the detected cpu, graphics card, and other settings.  Like how
games work these days.
