You need to have freevo-tvdev recognize your TV card before you even

Okay, I think I'm being very stupid but I can't figure this out.
# freevo-tvdev list
gives two devices ivtv0 and tv0
both are WinTV PVR 350
freevo-tvdev scan ivtv0
scans a list of predefined channels, but reports no channel on all
channels scanned.
One problem is that the Swiss cable provider uses non-standard
frequencies for most of the channels.
First question is what are the contents of channels.conf?
Second question is what should the contents of tvdev-<host>.conf be for
a custom list of channels?
Once you get tvdev working then you need to get tvserver working. When
it sayes "record server not found", it's saying it cannot find a valid
tvserver which points back to tvdev.
Is there something in local_conf.py that points to the tvserver?
Get it working in that order.
Thanks
Duncan

Maybe I can work it out myself, would you give me some information
for dvb?
When it says "record server not found" what does it mean?
