How fast is the CPU you're using? I'm unsure of whether or not to buy a card with hardware encoding (and possibly decoding) because the drivers haven't had a lot of time to mature, and they're more expensive. Does anyone use such a card? Are they working on linux and with freevo? Do you think that the price justifies the features?

Thanks again,
Matt

Hi everyone. I looked through some of the more recent threads in the
archives, so please forgive me if this was discussed earlier. Are AverTV
cards supported? While they do not come with a remote, they are much
cheaper than, and the quality seems on par, if not better, than WinTV cards.

Thanks,
Matt
