Dito.. I found this about the same time I recived this e-mail.. but thanks for the heads up. > now when I lanch freevo it complains > # ./freevo > ./runtime/apps/freevo_python: ./runtime/dll/libpthread.so.0: version > `GLIBC_2.3.2' not found (required by /lib/libdirectfb-0.9.so.18) > > or > # rpm -q -a|grep glibc > glibc-2.3.2-4.80 > glibc-kernheaders-2.4-8.10 > glibc-common-2.3.2-4.80 > glibc-devel-2.3.2-4.80 again... dito!!... I "belive" this is because some of the lib's are complied with an older version.. like in this case "./runtime/dll/libpthread.so.0", and when it calls /lib/libdirectfb-0.9.so.18, its useing the glib-2.?.? (not 2.3.2) version, and its confusing libdirectfb.. can someeone conferm or deny this ?? I'm 100% sure how this stuff works. If this is the case... any ideas on what to do about it ??? would i need to recompile directfb, sdl, mplayer in some 2.?.? ???compatiablity mode???
