I will try more later when I get home. But I'm sure that I have /usr/bin/python symlinked to python2.3.
I've written python scripts and can run them in python shell (or whatever it's called) and sys.version returns 2.3.0 but when I add sys.version to code runned by Freevo it says 2.2.2 (or something).
