Robert,

well that does help but it looks like it is the same behaviour I am seeing but for audio. So I will have to try downgrading to Mplayer 0.91.

thanks!

Paul

Hello,

maybe this is of no help, but in my case I spot that mplayer 1.0pre2 doesn't
play properly some video files that are working OK on another computer with
mplayer 0.91.

It just stops playing at some point, but only on some files...

Regards,

Robert.

the crash I send in my first mail in this thread. I have attached it
below again. Basically mplayer seems to stop working at 95% of the song
and I see the test below in the log. Now I am trying to find out if htis
is caused by a bug in rc4 or in the fact that I am using mplayer
1.0pre2-3.2.2. What I do see is that after such a crash the LCD screen
insist on displaying the last output from the mp3 playing rather than
the menu as the screen is.

Sorry for the confusion. I got the runtime from the separate rpms which

BTW: I also do not get this crash repeatedly in every mp3 file.

What crash?
