Hmm, i'm using Mplayer and Xine which i got from the default SuSE apt4rpm
mirrors, without any problems! Everything default, just update with apt4rpm,
the only thing i installed from source was mmpython and twisted i think, all
the other stuff can be obtained from SuSE itself ... And btw, running
perfect as always ;)

well that does help but it looks like it is the same behaviour I am seeing
but for audio. So I will have to try downgrading to Mplayer 0.91.
