Check out the OSD_SDL_EXEC_AFTER_STARTUP variable (may be spelled differently, but you get the picture) in your local_config.py file. I had some serious problems with the mgafb script shipped with Freevo. I'll try and remember to send my custom one that I use with my G400 Marvel when I get home.
