Anyway, I can remember that some scripts came with freevo
linke "...path_to_freevo/fbcon/matroxset/matroxset" didn't
come with the latest ebuild...

Check out the OSD_SDL_EXEC_AFTER_STARTUP variable (may be spelled
differently, but you get the picture) in your local_config.py file. I had
some serious problems with the mgafb script shipped with Freevo. I'll try
and remember to send my custom one that I use with my G400 Marvel when I
get home.
