I have a 1100, it seems to slow down when playing a DVD. I don't hear it when watching a movie. But for the 1100, you should hurry up. It looks like NEC doesn't produce the drive anymore and since it was very cheap, some stores don't have it anymore. Dischi -- The truth is out there?
