Is this the 1100 or the 1100A, is there a difference?? On pricewatch you can get 1100A for 75 an 1300A for 95 but I don't see any straight 1100/1300. Since I have a really noisy drive now I was hoping to pick on up if they are quite.

I have a 1100, it seems to slow down when playing a DVD. I don't hear it when watching a movie.
But for the 1100, you should hurry up. It looks like NEC doesn't produce the drive anymore and since it was very cheap, some stores don't have it anymore.
