I'm running on a K7S5A+LAN with a Duron 1.3GHz, more than enough resources
for freevo, i paid 45 for the board and 35 for the CPU, so that would have
even fitted bill over one year ago, you should get the stuff even cheaper
now!

Betreff: [Freevo-users] Where to get a good fast MB/processor?

Where can I pick up a cheap barebones system (MB/processor) fast enough for
fully functional freevo use? I really dont need another case/power supply
and I have plenty of fast memory sticks and a ATI AIW board. No built-in
video subsystem please. I live in the USA.

What is fast enough? I see 1GHz tossed around but is that a P3/P4/Athelon?

I am trying to do this on a unemployeed guy type of budget. :)

TIA,

Bill
