I have an old sblive value, and onboard sound.  I would recomend for people
not to use either of them if they are required to capture sound through line
in, which I am.  If sound capture is important to you, do some research..
there are a few cards out there that are cheap *and* capture well.

This is what I have done.. My PC is in the garage, NOTHING is a quiet as
acable through a wall ;-)
