Hi all! I dont know if this is the right place to send this to but I make a try if not please exuse me =) Have written down some thoughts, requests and "bugs" that are ment to give some ideas when working on next version. I know that some stuff maby arent possible and some stuff are just dreams =)
I dont have any tv card som I do not use the tv part att all but I use the other stuff and have some comments, buggs and requests. I am new to Freevo and new to linux so some stuff of my "buggs" are maby just that I have boken it on my computer. =) webbradio Norcistation allmost none works and very few of the outhers works. Movies viewing After pressing escape dosent return to menu instead next movie starts playing Movie viewing dosent block screensaver from commin on After playing a movie freevo kind of jumps out of fullscreen and then back when next movie starts. Cant change volume when a movie is playing, the key M mutes sound instead and N dosent make anything. Mame Cant get it to work at all but probably my out messing around. (Xmame is installed) Weather plugin Works great!!! Eaven thou my litle town isent suported by weather.com cache Hard to understand, cant clear it under user so I have to run freevo as root thou as user freevo wound fins any files och my cd´s Feature requests Key to exit from all menues and get back tom "main" screen? (Sometimes there are alot of folders in folders...) rss feed woud bee nice so can get some news while lisning to music. Or maby a "News center"? Would like to be able to ad own och have a shoutcast browser? Random play all dir/files for mp3-cd´s Read id3 tags for mp3 and file name for movies and gets cover-pic and movie description. Think most peopla have the freevo computer hocked up to speekers or a sterio so some front for skype could bee cool. Maby some frontend for editing the python file? would be nice to be able to activate/deactivate modules with a checkbox or something like that. It would bee nice to be able to seta a bookmark to a folder, maby the photo folder and make it always visible under picture menu. Weather and play a game are in menu in english and the other stuff in swedish, looks a bit funny so would be nice to be able to translate och change "main menu". Rip audio-cd to mp3/ogg and tup in a folder "automatic" (with pre set values). Webbradio is nice but it could be nice to be able to have a slideshow from a folder or maby from a online art site? I love freevo but wanted to make some suggestions to make it eaven better. Sorry for my bad english.
