That's because mplayer has the focus and not Freevo. It should be
fixed in CVS (BTW: someone send a patch to make it skip to the next
video) That should not happen if you start freevo with -fs.

Yes, it's too complicated. But what happens if you run it as user?
Freevo start but cant acces my drives, it only founds one of them (I have a
dvd reader and a dvd writer and both works wounderful under root) but it
wount list the files on it.

I´m kind of bad at installing in linux, synaptic package manager is kind of
what I can handle and it only shows the weather plugin.

Thought that it could be fun to have a easy acces speaker phone, with auto
pausing music and no disturm mode for movie viewing maby...

It's an often wanted feature. But we are few developers and don't have
much time. Most of the time you use Freevo, so the configure is not
that important (too me)

You can do this in the config file. But the idea sounds nice.
Are thinking of how to teach my girlfriend to use freevo and for my own sake
tying to keeping it as easily as possible...

Use LANG="" when you start Freevo to get all english or someone needs
to update the translation file.
Going t look if I find the translation file and play with it.
