Dischi could you please re-add a way to launch commands during the freevo startup (just after the X starting), I have done a hack on the freevo script but this is really ugly :)
I am sure that other people need to launch commands right after the X starting (nvidia-setting, xset, and so on ...)

that should do it, the first one turns suspend off, the second resets
the display so it comes back on.
