If you are using KDE login manager, then you need to go into the KDE
configuration tool and set up the auto login there.

I am not very familiar with KDE and how it's settings work.

If you use GDM as a login manager, then, you can find the config files
on SuSE here:

/etc/opt/gnome/gdm/gdm.conf

My Freevo box is in spares at the moment, so I can only work from memory
now, but you should be able to find a desktop file
in /opt/gnome/share/gdm/BuiltInSessions
Make a copy of the default.desktop and I think it should appear in your
GDM list.

When I have my box back in one piece and working I can check exactly how
I did it.
