I'm having a bit of difficulty getting Freevo to install cleanly on
CentOS 4.4 (Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 clone) and have also tried Fedora
Core 6. I keep tripping up on the dependencies. The system is a quad
core opteron 285 machine with 2gigs of memory. The OS is installed on
a RAID 1 array and there are a few TB of disk space for the media store
all on a 3Ware 9550SX controller. I am using the 64-bit version of the
OS's and I keep getting errors that libs are missing. Those libs exist,
but they're 64-bit instead of 32-bit. Would I have better luck with a
32-bit OS install or have I just overlooked some simple tweak at build time?

I looked around the net for a current "here's how I did it" document,
but didn't have much luck for a current rev of either Distro. Any
suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Best regards,
