Hello John,

I'm using a rather default configuration of a 32bit AthlonXP box (with
low noise fans ..):

Motherboard: MSI K7N2 and AthlonXP (Desktop-CPU) [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Sound: Default onboard (nvidia nforce)
Graphics: an old Elsa Erazor -> Nvidia TNT2 Chipset

The Case is an old ATX tower (used like a desktop: horizontal) with
custom front-panel.

no TV-Card at all (main purpose of freevo is to show/play data stored on
a server or supplied by removable media: cd/dvd/memory cards/usb)

additional hardware:

10GB 2,5'' HDD (a rather old Toshiba drive),
ICY Box IB-861 Cardreader,
external homebrew IR-decoder (the one with a TSOP1738 IC, schematics are
on the net somewhere),
Medion MD 4688 remote,
Acer AT3220 Display (LCD-TV @1360x768)
+ a generic DVD-Rom (made by LG, dont remember the model)

hope its useful,
Ingo.
