also use an MS MCE remote
not capable of HD at all but i don't have a HDTV so it's more than adequate,
mplayer uses about 30% cpu when playing avis.
512mb RAM, booting off compact flash using compact flash > ide adapter
was really easy to set up as everything was in kernel, and most distros ship
the via drivers or the openchrome drivers, using Arch Linux
