yes... this is very frustating... I tried windows too but funny enough
the windows find the "ehome infrared device", but for some reason it
doesnt work either. So I started to think that somehow I damaged the
device. I´m sure that it has a IR and it even comes with a remote
control (http://www.ehomeupgrade.com/entry/4097/shuttle_debuts_dvo).

well... does anyone recomend a good and inexpensive usb ir receiver?
