Hi,

i would like to user freevo 1.7.4 with dvbstreamer 0.8.

The Setup works (Live TV with pause). But i have one issue:

Sometimes DVBstreamer fails to tune a channel. This will crash the
freevo Frontend. I tried to catch the RuntimeError (that works) but i
can't figure out how to tell freevo to switch back where it came from.
So if i browse the tv-guide, try to tune a channel and dvbstreamer
fails i would like to display a small dialog box "tuning channel
failed" and drop back to the tv-guide.
(For the recording plugin i would retry to tune for a few times, but
for live tv dropping back would be fine for me).

Another Issue, but i already have a workaround:

Dvbstreamer updates its channel-names by reading the DVB-Stream. As
Freevo tries to tune the channels by name not id (don't know if the
streamer can do it) it will fail if the station updates its name
(happens in germany with ZDF which will switch to ZDFW for
widescreen). As a workaround i wrote a small python script reading the
dvbstreamer sqlite database for the current name. In Freevo i placed
the ID which doesn't change. right before i need to switch a channel i
will translate it to the current name and switch then. The OSD
displays "buffering channel 452" but i can live with it (way to lazy
to update all the places where the name is used ;))

Greetings
   Christoph
