Can see that being a source of confusion, in DVBStreamer udp:// streams to
localhost port 1234, for Xine to receive that you'll need to tell it to
open
udp://localhost:1234 (I think don't have Xine around to check at the moment).

Probably memory constraints, I don't know how much memory the PS3 has
available but on a PC you need at least 512MB ram to get the current
implementation to work. The new version I am working on hopefully won't
have that constraint (all down to my decision to use mmap the first time
:-p)
