Hi all,
I enjoyed running FreevoLive for a while, but after this try I was
stick with my old configuration because my needs are of course
different from the ones reached by this (however great) solution.

I was searching from something that can give a somewhat secure (through
user configurations) home server with HTPC features. It has to be stable,
light, and easily customizable.
So I started working on my own solution.
I choosed to use Debian Etch as base, and I wrote what I was missing.

The result is Piren, an acronym that stands for "Piren Is Real
Entertainment", and a beta version is available at:

        http://www.piren.org/

Of course there are lots of things to do, but maybe if someone likes
to join the project, it can improve to something really interesting.

Kind regards,
