Cool, maybe we could share thoughts sometime? :-) I have downloaded Piren, and ran it inside VMware, which seems to run fine. Now I don't have any media on my VMware disk to play, but everything seems to be there :-) One question: Why autologin as root, on every tty? Yeah, this can be a bit of a problem on some configs, I had that problem with FreevoLive, that's why I decided to make bootoptions for booting in runlevel 3 (framebuffer) and 5 (X11). At the moment I'm a but stuck with FreevoLive, as the maintainer of the mklivecd scripts for Mandriva stopped working on it, so I'm unable to create a version off Mandriva 2008 :-( Hope to find a working alternative soon...
