Hey all..
I'm evaluating several "virtual hosting" control panel packages on the
commercial side... things like:
Ensim: http://www.ensim.com/index.shtml
Sphera: http://www.sphera.com/
Plesk: http://plesk.com/home.php
I trying to keep it limited to packages that run in a chroot'd environment so
that customers and port bindings from domain X won't conlfict in any way with
Domain Y... But some of the packages I'm looking at don't fully do this.
I came across Free-VSD and am very intrigued.. It seems to have a type of
chroot'd environment and looks like it dows what I need on the low-level side,
but I'm wondering about the user interface. Does VSD have a ssl crypted web
GUI interface like the other industry packages?
If so.. are there any screen shots?
We're a big open source shop and are in the process of opening up some of our
own in house developed code...
I got the white paper on the skel/dir tree structure.. and it really sounds
nice... But since there were zero screen shots are talk about a GUI.. I have
to believe that it's command line only..
Is this true? If not.. can someone point me to some GUi related info? Or is
that what this talk about using it with Webmin was all about?
Is there a link to these webmin efforts? Thanx..
